This trip is such a blessing to me! I love to see the kids enjoy all the Christmas magic and fun, staying on the box car of the train is so fun and being together having fun is wonderful! The most special thing to me though is the Harringtons! The five of them are truly special to me and I am thankful for the last 14 years of their friendship. We do not get to see them often but we have had this special time with them the last 4 years and i am THANKFUL!

ER date!

This is Mike the night after our ER date... About 12:30 I was working away on Christmas cards and Mike who never complains about ANYTHING except Clemson says uhhh and holds his side so ... I grab my phone tell him to get dressed and go to the ER. Our friend Tyler came over and we were SOOOO thankful for him! We hung out in the ER figured out it was a kidney stone. We returned home about 3:30 and slept quick before we started the day at 7:30~! Poor thing and what he said is that it was a nice date!

Visitors

These little guys created such a fun fun atmosphere for us during this holiday season. They arrived soon after Thanksgiving and left the day we did so they could go help Santa get ready for Christmas. They brought little gifts and left notes of encouragement along with watched and reported to Santa nightly!!!! Momma loved that they were watching AND thanks to Toy Story 3 they had a little more power this year!

I am trying...

How do you teach your children to serve... you let them... each year we each pack a box for Operation Christmas child and they love it. We shop for the things, bring them home open them all and then pack the box with a letter and the stuff. This year I was sooo proud of them because... it was the first year they didn't desire one of each of the things in the box for themselves. So cute and they were so excited!

These are a few of our favorite things...

Happy Birthday to our sweet Caitlin! So we are moving into the boy girl world ): Caitlin is Mason's best friend and has been since he was about 8 months old. Every year these two have spent their birthdays together and certainly their parties but this year we moved into girl parties that boys were not allowed at so... we made chocolate~ I am so thankful for this little girl and that one of her favorite things is chocolate! It was a fun adventure and as you can see in the photos they have planned their next adventure but we are still glad that for now we can still tag along (:
