Tuesday May 24th!

After I updated yesterday our day was filled with yummy and fun experiences! We left Folsom and headed to Napa a short drive away! Mike was a great navigator and took us pretty much straight to the door of the cutest little Inn ever! We unloaded and set off in search for a cute little winery to be able to have the experience of wine tasting in a real winery well just so you know random selection is not the way to go! There are over 400 wineries within the Napa area and that doesn't include Sonoma!!! So we drove through a few and stopped at a cute little diner to eat! While eating our turkey and avocado wraps YUMMMMY! Mike asked the people next to us... which winery should we go to.... 35 min later and a history of MANY wineries in the area they sent us to this one... Paraduxx... WONDERFUL people wonderful wine! We spent the afternoon walking the property, sipping wine and enjoying the beauty! Then back to the hotel where I played in the giant tub with jets and got ready for dinner! I have a photo of dinner but no name I forgot but the food AHHHHHH YUMMY!!! After dinner we returned to the Inn for tea time and coffee in the front gathering room with chocolate drizzled mango and some kind of chocolate, marshmallow yummy thing! Then to the room for a movie that started a little late because of Criminal minds marathon (If you know me you know how truly funny this is NOT) we watched a movie and Mike finished it I ...did not (;

Photos to be posted when I can get them from my camera to a computer (:

THIS MORN NING
We woke up at 9:45... yes we are three hours behind and going to be in BIG trouble when we get home! I think I have truly found the time zone I was born for (;
We packed up and headed to San Francisco! Such a beautiful drive! We came in over the golden gate bridge and saw the scary Alcatraz and checked into this super cute bed and breakfast... My first ever... Little unique but I think I will enjoy it feels kind of like home! We unloaded and then walked down to Fisherman's Wharf!!!! Fun and beautiful! We saw a sea lion or seal whichever they are and lots of fun stores and food and on and on! Fun city we are in! Now we are back at the end taking a nap (can't you tell) Mike is sleeping (; and then off to dinner at a place recommended by John a most wonderful brother in law!

If you are looking for prayer request here is one for you my allergies are HORRIBLE I have taken something every 4 hours on the dot and it would be really nice if that would stop! (: OK thanks!
Off for now and I will tell you about dinner tomorrow!

EEEEE HEE HEEE Already missed one!

Saturday I slept until...I woke up... that was a crazyyyyy feeling! Mike was off to his last day of drum camp and I had nothing on my agenda until Piper and her girls got here so I walked around sat with the guys at lunch laied by the pool for a bit and then they were here! What a wonderful and unique feeling to see a friend after five or so years! It was wonderful! and my fairy God daughter and her sister! We had a blast walking around the downtown talking, eating and best of all laughing! and then we laied by the pool! For dinner we went to this Thia restaurant where we waited about an hour and a half and were told we couldn't have the order we wanted! SOOOOOOOOO funny! and then we stopped in to see our little drummer boys playing some and then off to bed! Sunday super fun day! Mike joined us all day and we nature walked, kiak and Jelly Bellied all day long! Photos to follow and yes I wished the boys were with us EVERY SINGLE MOMENT!

MAY 21 let the adventure end/begin

Ok I will go back and add the past few weeks at a later time but today I am going to try to go back to daily post! Even if they are short and sweet (;
We have had birthday mania at the house and it has been fun however I am glad that they were fun and done (: I left yesterday on my first solo adventure since kids! Over the past few weeks I have planned and scheduled and prayed and cleaned and prayed and then I prayed! That this adventure would go smoothly! Mike has been gone for the past week to Drum camp!you can watch him nightly at mikeslessons.com I think. You may have to have a password but you can at least go to Drum Camps and see what he has been doing! He has had a blast and the Barrel of Monkeys have been a little crazy without their alpha leader (: I accomplished this past week a bit of confidence that I feel I really needed. One of my biggest fears is that something would happen to Mike. When I think about this I at some points have had full blown panic attacks. Not because I love him that much although I do and only that aspect of it is enough BUT because I have THREE BOYS! How does one Mom take care of three boys? but I did and they were happy and I am exhausted but I did it! What I learned from this week.... I truly love this man emotionally, physically and when I said with all that I am I honor you I meant it and will continue to try to live up to that, it was confirmed that he is the BEST husband and Daddy that anyone could imagine, the boys missed him like crazy and the laundry took a blow from Heather (a job I really am AWFUL at) The bed was really lonely at night (except one night thanks Katie) and then I was empowered that I can do what I need to do and although I had a lot of help (Mom, Beth, Cheryl, Connie, Taylor, Kris, Amanda, Katie= deep hearted THANK YOU!)  I kept everyone alive and for the most part was where we were suppose to be when we needed to be! Please pray for the next week as Judi and Vickie are with the boys that they know Momma and Daddy love them and that they have fun while we are away! This is the first time we have ever been more then 2 hours away from them and being across the country feels really strange! The other adventure that I had was flying across the country by my self ... I have not flown at all in 5 years and the last time I did involved throwing up and many more not so good memories so I was very excited when I arrived by shuttle at our hotel last night in Folsom California! Have a beautiful day and I will post soon hopefully tonight! Today is going to be  a big wonderful day!

Gate

Today my Dad handy manned our house! One thing he fixed was the gate on the front porch. He attached a wire that balances the weight so it swings nicely! Yea Dad! On the way to the baseball game tonight I said to Walker "look what Poppa did!" He looked really funny at the gate and said "cool" and continued to stare at it in a very strange way. I said I know I am excited and he looked at me and said " Is it electric"

Today the boys had SOCCER ~ season start!!! They were so excited and I think the biggest Giusti boy in this house was too! I ran my first 5K in about 8 maybe more years.... Time in... 32:20.... I was pleased. Never stopped and felt pretty good after! There was a really nice lady who I admire that without her knowing pulled me through the last half mile for sure. Zane stayed with Mrs Audrey who will be his teacher next year when he starts at Clyde First Baptist Preschool and entertained the crowds (: No photos this day but lots of fun in the sun!
